1. The condition of men without Christ

   • Matthew 20:28 - "Give His life a ransom [purchase price]." The same word is also translated "redeemed" in 1Peter 1:18,19
   • John 10:11 - "Giveth His life for the sheep" (see also John 10:15)
   • John 12:24-33 - "If I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me" (see also John 3:14,15)

3. Christ's complete salvation includes

   4. Sonship (new relation)

   5. Keeping
      • John 10:28,29 - "Neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand"
      • Luke 22:31,32 - "Satan hath desired to have you... but I have prayed for thee"
      • John 17:11 - "Keep... those whom thou hast given Me"
      • John 6:39 - "Of all which He hath given Me... lose nothing"
   6. The gift of the Holy Spirit
